Question

Something here is a bit unclear to me.
 
There was a period when Chile deteriorated into corruption, which is bad, and they also privatized things then.
 
At first it had economic prosperity despite the corruption (afterward that faded and its economic situation collapsed).
This was called the "miracle of Chile."
My question is: does God perform miracles for corrupt people, at least for some initial period?

• And if it wasn't a miracle, what's the natural explanation? After all, corruption is the catalyst for economic collapse.
