Question

A lot of people are angry at Ben-Gvir for going up to the Temple Mount and trying to provoke things, but they forget that there was a right-wing prime minister (at least at the beginning) who did this 24 years ago too — Sharon. True, I was very young then, but if I remember correctly, nobody attributed malicious motives to Sharon, like wanting to blow up the country and set the Middle East on fire (even though that kind of did happen). Now obviously Ben-Gvir in general is an unqualified clown, unlike Sharon, but don’t you think that in some sense the left has lost it, and everything turns into “messianic delusional dictator,” etc.?
