Maybe you’ve heard of him. From what I understand, he’s a Religious Zionist who became Haredi and is considered an intellectual. He once wrote, and I quote: “The release of the hostages in an operation, from a Haredi perspective, focuses on the question of the purpose of the release.
If those released will march in gay pride parades, preach marriage with non-Jewish women in the name of equality, desecrate the Sabbath, and strip themselves of all commitment to Mount Sinai,
then the provincial euphoria typical of such a release will turn out to be very problematic.” Now personally I was a bit shocked by these words, but maybe that’s because I’m not Haredi. Still, I wanted to ask you anyway: is there any wisdom or truth in what he wrote?? Or is it just trolling aimed at the secular public (he wrote it on Twitter)?
