Q&A: Where Is It Best to Start
Where Is It Best to Start
Question
Blessings and greetings,
I came across a bit of your content on YouTube and wanted to ask a few questions:
A. Why are you less "accepted" in the Religious Zionist public?
B. Is there some orderly path you recommend going through from a theological standpoint?
C. A bit off topic—who would you recommend choose academic studies in physics?
Answer
A. I don’t see why that should interest anyone, but if it does interest you, I suggest asking them. In short, it is probably because my views deviate from what is accepted there. I do not see Zionism as a religious value. I do not see the footsteps of redemption here, and certainly do not build my outlook and attitude toward the state and society on that. Beyond that, there are my general views regarding Jewish law and Jewish thought. You can search here for the column “Am I an Apikoros?”
B. No. Theology is an unnecessary field, or really one that does not truly exist. For details, see the second book of my trilogy. There you can also understand the answer to question A.
C. Someone who is interested in it.
