I didn’t comment on the previous elections. The site didn’t even exist yet. You’re probably confusing it with my manifesto in which I dealt with the elections for the Rabbinate, and even there it was an example of the confusion of views in the religious public, not criticism of the Rabbinate itself. That kind of criticism you can usually find here on the site, and I don’t see what the point is in discussing it at all. Anyone who doesn’t see it on his own is either blind or corrupt.
From that it also follows that I don’t have any special thoughts about the current round. It is simply a continuation of the way the Chief Rabbinate conducts itself, for which “criminal gang” is a mild description. And of course now too this institution has no protection except a knife. A corrupt and rotten institution whose whole business is desecration of God’s name and nothing beyond that. It should have been shut down yesterday, and all the criminals involved in it should be imprisoned, together with the politicians who cooperate with them.
