I didn’t understand what’s brilliant there, or what proves the divinity of the text. At most, it’s a claim— not a very strong one— for a single author/editor. But how does that show that he was divine or a genius?
Rabbi Michi, I seem to remember that you once wrote that the whole system of the hermeneutic principles is almost proof, in your view, of the truth of the Torah. Am I remembering correctly? Maybe I’m misquoting? But I do remember something like that from a really, really long time ago.
I don’t remember anything like that, and I don’t think so either.
