I assume you heard about the uproar בעקבות the remarks of Amos Schocken, who called Palestinian terrorists “freedom fighters.” I wanted to ask whether, in your opinion, there is such a thing at all as freedom fighters who are not terrorists. Do you think the Vietnamese who fought against the colonial rule of France and the United States—although there it was a bit more complicated—would count? In other words, are actions against a foreign regime that try not to harm civilians defined as the actions of freedom fighters?
