A combination of God Asik and Lod

שו"תA combination of God Asik and Lod
שאל לפני 10 שנים

I plan to use plywood-sided huts like this. (Without a sheet or tarp behind it, just the reeds as a wall). As you can see in the picture in the link, the wall does not reach all the way to the top and you have to rely on the Good Assic thing. I saw a beautiful one on the site Responsorial Psalm They wrote that those who trust both God Asik and Lavod have two voices in this, and that both should not be trusted together in the first place. On the face of it, this is strange because this product (the wall panel) is koshered by the Badatz Beit Yosef. Therefore, I ask you, can this product be trusted as a wall panel from the first place?

It is not about two voices, but about the combination of two laws. The Rabbi's method is that two laws are not said on top of each other. But there are some light sides here. A. This statement itself is not agreed upon. on. Not sure if a God Asik is needed (ten taps on the wall are enough by themselves without a God Asik). Here too, there is disagreement among the Rishonim, and as far as I remember, most of them believe that it is not necessary. third. The reeds are not parallel but are at right angles, so it is not clear whether this is a plywood wall at all. Think of the regular wall that is made in a way that has holes here and there. Isn't it called "good ass"? D. Reka wrote that according to the Ran, two laws are not said, only that the existence of one depends on the other. This is not exactly the case here. The ha-bod certainly does not depend on the god of the ass, and the opposite is not entirely simple in my opinion. Note that there is also no hole of 3 by 3 inches near the ground, which would preclude the hatching of goats (see Sukkah 16a). —————————————————————————————— Asks: Regarding C. It seems to me that what determines whether this is plywood or not is whether most of the wall is solid or perforated (in our case, most of it is perforated). —————————————————————————————— Rabbi: Maybe. This needs to be discussed further.
