Claiming late payment penalties (linkage and interest)
Hello Rabbi,
About two years ago, I ordered a service from a professional worth about 14 thousand NIS. The professional did not provide the service and recently I decided to claim the money back in small claims. Is it permissible to claim a refund of linkage and interest on the amount from two years ago? In addition, is it permissible to claim compensation for the hassle of returning the money (filing the claim, etc.).
