What is your personal view of serving God?
I heard Leibovitz on a video once say that what guides him in fulfilling the commandments is to be different from the beast.
For this, it is not necessary to observe the commandments. It is enough that we are intelligent creatures. We do not even need to be educated or moral. But if you want, you can live according to rigid morality that does not change. You still do not need to observe the commandments and rules for this. You can take from the Torah whatever you want. And if you say that a person is a social creature and should behave in a proper society, then you can take everything that has to do with a person and his fellow man. [I heard that Yaron Yadan Shlibovitz defined himself as an atheist who worships God. For now, I have no other source for this.]
