Living in contradiction
We all know religious and ultra-Orthodox people, whose daily lives – not as a one-time or occasional act – consist of acts of deceit, fraud, deception, deprivation of others, and other good deeds. Among them are public figures familiar to us, and in fact, this is the essence of their existence. Do you think it is possible to have a worldview in which these people, who have chosen this way of life for themselves, both believe in God and reward and punishment and also behave in the manner I described, or is there no such contradiction and they probably do not believe in God and/or reward and punishment?
