Oh the corruption
Why do you think that suspicions (only) about accepting cigars and champagne are "being corrupt to the core",
But on the other hand, to personally and publicly assure your voters (and even sign it) that "you will not sit with an Arab party" or that "the law of Netzarim is the same as the law of Tel Aviv," and two minutes later to do the exact opposite, isn't that corruption?
Isn't there "deception of things" in the Shulchan Aruch?
If so, why didn't Bennett also "earn" harsh nicknames here like Netanyahu?
And beyond the halakhic issue, aren't false promises actually a more problematic moral issue than cigars and champagne?
If you believe that cigars and champagne are a less serious matter (halachically and morally) than deceiving the general public, why do you constantly criticize Bibi and the daily news that he is corrupt and everything, but you haven't seen anyone write anything about corruption about others?
