The Russian Narrative in the War
Hello Rabbi,
Recently, the Russians have been trying to explain themselves that the reason for the war is to prevent the expansion of the NATO alliance towards Russia, especially on Ukrainian soil, which borders Russia. Something that is a bit reminiscent of the Cuban missile crisis. On the surface, there is logic in their explanation. I wanted to ask what you think about it? Is there any justice in what they say?

The Nazis also claimed that the Jews threatened the world. These claims are gratuitous. NATO has no offensive tendencies, which cannot be said of the Russians, and therefore these concerns seem like empty excuses. It's about the same as Iran's excuses for the Israeli nuclear program.
