If there wasn't all the pressure from outside, etc.,
Are you in favor of preventing humanitarian aid from Gaza residents and essentially causing the population to be repopulated until the abductees are returned?
Even if we assume that the benefit was quite small and not very certain, because the Hamas members themselves, let's say, stocked up on food, etc.

I have written here briefly several times. Whatever is necessary to achieve the war's goals (destroying Hamas, restoring security to Israel, and recovering the hostages) can be done. Whatever is not necessary for this, it is forbidden to harm those not involved.
