The situation in the country

שו"תThe situation in the country
שאל לפני 3 שנים

I'm really worried about the situation in the country. I feel like we're really walking towards doom. This crazy and corrupt government passes a corrupt law every day (the Deri law in Tiberias, the Deri law in the Chief Rabbinate, etc.), the security situation is beyond any criticism, our situation in the international arena is in tatters, the economic and high-tech situation is horrible, the government is transferring billions to schools without a core and to the other corrupt goals of the parasites, covering up the madness and now also removing a reasonable excuse that will slow down this crazy gang a little.
I ask what the rabbi recommends doing these days? Are there any operative ways in which we can act? Should we launch a campaign to call on our elected officials (Gantz and Lapid) to enter a unity government? Or should we try with all our might to fight the current government until it falls? I no longer know what we should do these days. What does the rabbi recommend? (Or is the rabbi less bothered by the situation and thinks I'm exaggerating)

I am definitely worried about the situation. I don't see a realistic chance that Gantz and Lapid will enter the government (at least as long as Bibi is on the ground). I don't see what to do, except join the protests in the hope that in the end they will topple the government and at least moderate its steps (they have already achieved that there). If you have the option of taking investments abroad or preventing investments that will come in and harm the country's economy in some way, or refusing to work in the army or the police, that is certainly welcome. This harm will only benefit in the long run, even though some of it is quite irreversible. I don't think the government will succeed in completely destroying the country, but it is certainly doing what it can in that direction. The question is whether the public will open up in the next elections. I highly doubt it.
