Does the captain leave last?
Question
Hello Rabbi,
Following this video:

which became fairly well known after the attack at the Ramot Junction, for some reason the public perception was that this is the driver’s role in such a situation, just as it is accepted worldwide that the captain leaves last. The question is whether this approach is correct, and if so, whether it applies in every situation.
Answer
I definitely think that it is his role. I have no way to say how far this goes or whether it applies in every situation. But in principle, it is his role.
