I have a request: in many places the Rabbi has written against psychology, saying that it is not scientific and is even full of nonsense and absurdities. a0
If I may, I’d like to request an expanded post on the subject. I would be very happy if the Rabbi would devote a post to it—is that possible? a0

Shai, I’ll just note that mathematics is only a language. That is not what distinguishes the natural sciences from pseudo-sciences.
As someone studying behavioral sciences, a significant part of which is psychology, and who is also very fond of philosophy and critical thinking, I join the request.
I’d be very interested to see what the Rabbi (who in my opinion is a very impressive philosopher and possesses exceptionally sharp insight) thinks about the subject.

And if I may express a personal opinion, there are many psychological theories and methods that fight each other in the professional literature to the death (each approach belittles the other and claims that it is superficial or focused on the wrong areas of experience). True, there are theories that are not scientific in the way the natural sciences are, which are based on mathematics, but they certainly aren’t nonsense. The theories describe mental functions, which operate in a non-logical and fairly symbolic way.
