The Place of Emotion in the World
Question
I read the book “Truth and Uncertainty,” which offers a solid philosophical basis for the view that there is truth in the world, and suggests a way to grasp things and what to believe in.
My question is: according to this view, what place does emotion have in the world? Is intellect all that matters? Does the feeling of love toward my wife / family / friends have a place in the world according to this view, or according to this view are feelings of love irrational and not really changing anything in reality?
