Q&A: Between Criticism and Insult…
Between Criticism and Insult…
Question
What is the line that distinguishes criticism from insult? In light of the formation of the government, I keep coming across all kinds of statements. Leaving aside for a moment the political context and what the Rabbi personally thinks about those mentioned below, I assume you happened to watch Dudi Amsalem’s speech in front of Miki Levy. And if not, then Amsalem read out in the Knesset, before Miki Levy, Levy’s own shouted criticism of the Norwegian Law during the formation of the previous government a year earlier. What people today call “holding up a mirror.” On the one hand, at the level of the claims, it’s legitimate. On the other hand, it’s really public humiliation.
Answer
I didn’t understand. If he is quoting him, then where is the public humiliation here? He said it publicly, and they are simply holding up a mirror to him.
