Honorable Rabbi, hello,
I heard a lecture by Rabbi David Stav about the conversion of minors, here: https://youtu.be/Zvaqn8uuCx4, and there he explained very well why there is no need to accept the yoke of the commandments—that is, the parents do not need to be observant [perhaps traditional], and consequently the child will grow up as traditional/secular.
I would be glad to read your opinion, and more generally what the Rabbi thinks about the problem of conversion in Israel [it is a shame that the Rabbi does not write a column about this; it is an important public issue].
