Hello Rabbi, A. What is the Rabbi’s attitude toward literature and the world of Kabbalah? What is it בעצם? Do you believe it is true? Why? What is its place, really?
B. I once read some article by the Rabbi, in which the Rabbi says that morality is also a value system that is also God’s will, and that sometimes there will be a contradiction between this value system and that of Jewish law, and one has to decide between them, and the Rabbi wrote there that not always in favor of Jewish law. My question is: why? After all, the Torah is a much stronger system, because God explicitly said that this is His will, whereas morality is only presumably God’s will?
C. What is the Rabbi’s opinion regarding the infiltrators, like in South Tel Aviv and that sort of thing?
D. Why did nature create gays and lesbians, who are not useful in terms of the continuation of the world, the survival of humanity? What about natural selection?

Answer
A. Briefly, I would say that in my understanding it contains interesting and important intuitions, but it is highly doubtful whether anything there, if anything at all, came down from Sinai or was received from above.
B. You decided that Jewish law is stronger, and I disagree. In a place where there is a fundamental clash (that is, where observing Jewish law necessarily causes the violation of a moral principle), then indeed Jewish law prevails. I elaborated on this at the beginning of my book Movements Among the Standing.
C. What is the question? What do I think about them? That they have two legs, and that some of them are nice and some are not. And probably they also do not have a tail, like, and stuff.
D. Evolution has its screwups. Why is everything we like to eat unhealthy, and what is healthy not tasty? But don’t worry, the gates of excuses have not been locked. There is no question about evolution for which you won’t find an excuse. And not for nothing did I write in my book that this is a theory that cannot be refuted.
