Amen on Hanukkah
Question
An interesting question I thought of, and I’d be glad to know the Rabbi’s opinion.
Regarding answering amen after the blessings recited over the Hanukkah menorah.
Seemingly, in many places the congregation has the custom of answering after the one reciting the blessing with the melody “A-a-men.”
Is there any problem with this because of a “cut-off amen” [according to the Arukh(?)]??
Answer
I didn’t understand why this would be a cut-off amen. The final “n” is not missing here.
