What does the Rabbi think about the late Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir’s claim that the ownership of the Land of Israel by the Jewish people is an a priori necessity, and therefore there is no reason to justify it through historical arguments and the like? Is there really something to this? It is important to note that this was a claim he would repeat again and again, even before world leaders.
