I really can’t understand what’s wrong with it. According to the vile, treacherous Israeli Arabs—even if we go along with their false narrative that there was supposedly a “Palestinian people” here, with a “state” and a “culture,” and then the Jews came (who were already here, by the way), conquered it, and established a Jewish state—let’s imagine what would have happened if there had been an Arab state here. It most likely would have been a lousy state: not economically strong, not democratic, with no freedom of speech, no individual rights, no international ties, and so on—whereas Israel offers all of that. An Arab today can study in the best places, travel the world, enjoy a wide range of jobs, etc. I, for example, as a proud Israeli Jew, would definitely prefer to live in a non-Jewish state if the Jewish state were not democratic, not wealthy, and similar to the other terrible Arab states. So basically, why is democratic colonialism such a bad thing?
