Q&A: Haredi School
Haredi School
Question
Rabbi, I study at a Haredi school, and I can't help criticizing all the interpretations, including Rashi, and the outlook that everything comes from Heaven. My mind is already thinking in a logical and critical way, but I'm not sure whether what I'm doing is right, and whether it causes them harm or benefit. After all, religion is a restraint for believers, but still I can't help seeing them following the herd and the damage they are causing themselves. Is it right to talk to them and offer criticism? Or is it better to leave them ignorant?
Answer
I didn't understand the question. Who are "they"? What exactly are you asking? In general, of course it's better to make people aware of their mistake. But where it won't be listened to, or where it may cause you harm, you can refrain from doing so.
