Hello Rabbi. I am a student in a hesder yeshiva, and I live in its dormitory. I manage quite well with the fact that my phone is not filtered (I have never corrupted myself), and today, by some miracle, I discovered through an app I installed a few days ago that while I was charging my phone and had left the room, another student, who knew that the phone was not filtered, took it and viewed explicit websites on it. Apparently this has been going on for about 3 months, and I am sad and deeply distressed that I am responsible for all the corruption that was done over those 3 months. I changed the password, of course. I ask the Rabbi to please give me some kind of undertaking so that I can try to repair what I have caused……. What does the Rabbi think about fasts… Thank you

First of all, this is not your fault. It was his initiative to use your phone without permission. I do not see any responsibility on your part.
I am not one of those who deals with arranging repentance procedures for people. Do what you think is appropriate. Personally, I think it is better to do something that has intrinsic value, like study or a commandment, rather than a fast.
